Road mishap snuffs out life

A resident of Dan Singh Wala village was killed in a road mishap on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Daljinder Singh.

The police have booked a person in this regard.

Deceased’s brother Ravinder Singh, a resident of the same village, told the police that the suspect, identified as Sukhveer Singh of Sri Muktsar Sahib, rammed his motorbike into the his brother’s bike.

In the incident, Daljinder died on the spot.

A case under Sections 304-A, 279, 337 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at the Nehiawala police station. However, no arrest has been made so far.
