YAMUNANAGAR: A farmer was killed on Saturday night after his tractor-trolley overturned near Kamani Chowk in Yamunanagar and he was crushed under the tractor.

A farmer was killed on Saturday night after his tractor-trolley overturned near Kamani Chowk in Yamunanagar and he was crushed under the tractor.

The deceased was identified as Om Prakash of Buria in the district.

According to information, he was returning home after supplying sugarcane at Saraswati Sugar Mill.

When near Kamani Chowk, his tractor-trolley overturned after hitting a road divider and he was crushed under the tractor. He was taken to Mukand Lal Civil Hospital, where he was declared brought dead. — TNS
