Basketball meet from April 24

The 10th All-India Major Jagpal Memorial Junior Inter-Public School Basketball Tournament for Boys and Girls will be hosted by Pinegrove School at Subathu from April 24 to 27. Twelve teams of boys and girls from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand are expected to participate.

These teams include The Lawrence School, Sanawar, Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer, Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun, Welham Girls’ School, Dehradun, Strawberry Field School, Chandigarh, LK Singhania Education Centre, Gotan, The Daly College, Indore, The Punjab Public School, Nabha, Vivek High School, "The tournament provides an opportunity to the students to improve their skills and capabilities at the junior level," the school's spokesperson said.
