The Election Department has decided that young voters from Una district could get an opportunity to interact with DC Rakesh Prajapati over lunch.

According to a press note here, after casting their votes, the voters between 18 and 19 years will click a selfie showing the finger having the indelible ink mark and upload it on their facebook page. They will have to tag the photograph with “SVEEP Una”, the official Facebook page of Una Election Department.

After the polls, the department will download all photographs of young voters and verify whether the voters have actually cast their votes. The list will be shortlisted randomly and 25 young voters, meaning five voters from each of the five Assembly segments will be invited for a lunch with DC-cum-District Electoral Officer Rakesh Prajapati.

The DC said the purpose was to involve them in the electoral process.
