As many as 1,44,800 candidates will appear for the J&K Bank’s online recruitment test from April 22 to 26.

J&K Bank is all set to hold the online examination for the posts of probationary officer and banking associate on April 22, 24, 25 and 26 at centres across the state under the aegis of the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and in association with Tata Consultancy Services.

This was informed by chief executive officer and chairman of the bank Parvez Ahmed in a press statement here on Saturday. Notably, the bank had earlier scheduled the test in middle of February, but had to reschedule it due to the circumstances at that time.

Outlining the criterion involved for the recruitment, the chairman said, “A notification for the recruitment of probationary officers and banking associates was released on October 6, 2018, with the qualification criteria of 60 per cent marks and age of 30 years for probationary officers and 55 per cent marks and age of 32 years for banking associates (clerks). Subsequently, on the request of a large number of candidates, it revised to 50 per cent marks and age of 35 years for banking associates. The bank received approximately 1.47 lakh applications, including 37,500 for the posts of probationary officer. As many as 1,07,300 applications have been receive for the posts of banking associates.”
