State Chief Election Commissioner Devesh Kumar reviewed arrangements for polling in Mandi district on Friday. He convened a meeting with district officials including Divisional Commissioner Vikas Labru, Inspector General of Police Venu Gopal, Deputy Commissioner Rugved Thakur, Superintendent of Police Gurdev Chand Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ashutosh Garg, Additional District Magistrate Sharawan Manta and all Sub Divisional Magistrates.

He gave necessary directions to the officers concerned and asked the Deputy Commissioner to focus on increasing voting percentage in this Lok Sabha election. He told the DC to provide necessary infrastructure at polling stations and repair pathways leading to polling centres. Devesh Kumar directed the DC to ensure proper arrangements for specially abled voters. — TNS
