Former naib tehsildar, others booked for fraud

A former naib tehsildar of Majri Sub-Tehsil in Kharar, one patwari and some directors of a company have been booked on the charge of committing a fraud.

A case has been registered against M/s Ambika Realcon Pvt Ltd, Combine Global Caplat Private Ltd, Patwari Baljit Singh, Bipan Jain and naib tehsildar Tarsem Sharma (retd). Complainant Sharmila Devi had written a letter, on the behalf of her mother, to the Mohali SSP, alleging M/s Ambika Realcon Pvt Ltd and Combine Global Caplet Pvt Ltd had committed a fraud regarding a piece of land which belonged to her family, whereby they had presented and executed partition proceedings in connivance with the officials through mutation. The court of Kharar SDM-cum-Assistant Collector Vinod Kumar Bansal has passed an order against the mutation. She said her mother did not sign the documents, but it was fraudulently implemented in the revenue record. — OC
