Dharamsala, April 17

Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader Mukesh Agnihotri has demanded that state president of the BJP Satpal Satti should be barred from campaigning in the ongoing parliamentary elections.

Agnihotri alleged Satti was a habitual offender and generally uses abusive language in his public addresses. He had earlier also used objectionable language against Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and even Mahatma Gandhi. “The video clips of Satti using objectionable language against Mahatma Gandhi are also available on social media. In the last Assembly election he even used objectionable language against my wife in public addresses in Haroli Assembly constituency,” Agnihotri said.

When asked about the stand taken by the BJP that the video clip of Satti was doctored, Agnihotri said Satti was not such a big national leader that anyone would doctor his video clip and play it on social media. — TNS
