Two young addicts committed suicide at Khawaspur village, 25 km from here, today.
The Goindwal Sahib police have initiated proceedings under Section 174 of the CrPC. The bodies have been sent to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem. Both the deceased were Dalits and unmarried.
Sub-Inspector Balraj Singh, incharge of the Fatehbad police post, said the deceased were identified as Pinder Singh (24) of the Khawaspur village and Hardip Singh (19) of Fatehbad.
Balraj Singh said the youths hung themselves with bed sheet from a girder of a room of the house.
