The parents of deceased Kartik sat on indefinite fast in front of the mini-secretariat here for the second consecutive day on Wednesday, demanding action by the police and action against the school management.

Five-year-old Kartik was killed after he fell through the broken floor of a school bus near Assan Kalan village on March 19.

Sanjay and Rajni Pahuja, parents of the deceased, and Sushil Verma, former member of the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, started the indefinite fast on Tuesday to demand stringent action. — TNS
