The Shaheed Bhagat Singh Welfare Club has devised a novel way to assist needy but skilled persons by offering them money to carry out their business.

Club owner Congress leader Gurinder Singh Rishi said the first batch of four beneficiaries would be provided loan on April 18 at the Town Hall. The interest-free loan amount would be between Rs 5,000 and Rs 50,000. —TNS
