Private schools told to submit fee details

JAMMU: The Directorate of School Education Jammu has instructed the proprietors of private schools in the Jammu region to immediately submit duly authenticated details of the fee structure of each class as it stood on August 1, 2014, and also the present fee structure.

The Directorate of School Education Jammu has instructed the proprietors of private schools in the Jammu region to immediately submit duly authenticated details of the fee structure of each class as it stood on August 1, 2014, and also the present fee structure.

Further, the directorate has fixed the schedule for the schools affiliated with different boards. The private schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education have been directed to submit the details of the fee structure from April 12 to 16.

The private schools affiliated with the J&K Board of School Education have been instructed to submit fee structure details on April 18, 20 and 22. The private schools affiliated with the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education or any other board are directed to submit details on April 23 and 24. The fee fixation committee has already issued a warning to the private educational institutes to ensure compliance with the directions of the High Court for not enhancing their fee without its prior permission. — TNS
