Screening of ‘Kesari’ marks Baisakhi

Doraha: The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated at Guru Nanak Model Senior Secondary School. The school organised an educational outing for the students during which the movie ‘Kesari’ was screened for its educational value.

The students after watching the movie said: “The most prominent part of a Sikh’s personality is his turban. We also learnt how to cope with difficult situations with bravery and courage.” During a function to mark the day, tiny toddlers, in their colorful outfits, left everyone awestruck with their dance performances. Students also sang patriotic songs to commemorate the day. The principal, DP Thakur, spoke on the importance of the festival. OC
