JALANDHAR: The district administration will organise a cycle rally to observe 100 years of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, in which hundreds of innocent people were killed during the British regime.

The district administration will organise a cycle rally to observe 100 years of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, in which hundreds of innocent people were killed during the British regime.

Divulging the details, a spokesperson of the district administration said the rally would be flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Varinder Kumar Sharma on April 13. The rally will commence from Parvati Jain School at Shakti Nagar near Football Chowk and culminate at Parvati Jain School.

He said hundreds of students from schools would participate in the rally. The rally would pass through Football Chowk; Dr BR Ambedkar (Nakodar) Chowk; Guru Nanak Mission Chowk; BMC Chowk; Namdev Chowk; Sri Ram Chowk; Bhagwan Valmiki Ji (Jyoti) Chowk and Basti Adda.
