SRINAGAR: Thirteen policemen were injured in a road accident in Baramulla on Friday morning, officials said.

Srinagar, April 12

Thirteen policemen were injured in a road accident in Baramulla on Friday morning, officials said.

They said the incident took place when a minibus carrying policemen was on its way to Srinagar after the election duty on Thursday turned turtle at Tragpora Dangiwacha in Sopore on Friday morning.

“Thirteen police personnel were injured in the accident,” an official said.

The injured policemen were shifted to District Hospital, Baramulla. — TNS
