The rally was flagged off from Chandigarh and the vintage beauties started arriving at the Surya Rock Rose Resorts near Kasauli perched on the NH around afternoon. The cars were a treat for the locals who were amazed at their impeccable upkeep and grace despite being as old as 1928. With bold red, white, green classic beauties ascending the hill, the motorists en route had a treat watching the vintage cars lining up on a sunny afternoon towards the hills.

The cars which trudged the more than 1500 m high hilly terrain include 1925-model Austin Chummy, 1938- Austin 8, two 1948 Morris, 1952 Plymouth, 1952 Hindustan, 1952 Sunbeam, 1954 Landmaster, 1961 Triumph, 1970 Standard, 1980 Contessa, 1985 Mercedes and 1985 Fiat.
