Dhindsa: Ready to contest from Sangrur seat

SANGRUR: Shiromani Akali Dal MLA from Lehra Parminder Dhindsa said today that he was ready to contest Lok Sabha elections from Sangrur if the party did not have any other leader from there.

Shiromani Akali Dal MLA from Lehra Parminder Dhindsa said today that he was ready to contest Lok Sabha elections from Sangrur if the party did not have any other leader from there.

“I have conveyed to our party chief Sukhbir Singh Badal to find another leader for the Sangrur MP election, but if the party does not have any other capable leader, then I am willing to fight for our party. I have also requested to consider my name in the last,” said Dhindsa. About the advice of his father and Rajya Sabha MP Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa to stay away from the Lok Sabha polls, Parminder said his father was his mentor in politics. — TNS
