On the eve of Holi, Aanchal International School celebrated the festival of colours with zeal. Students were told about the importance of the festival. Students and the staff got together to play Holi with colours and flowers.
SMD Little Champ, Panchkula
SMD Little Champ Smart School, Sector 2, Panchkula, celebrated an eco-friendly Holi. Excitement and happiness of students knew no bounds as they celebrated the festival without harmful chemical-based colours. Principal Deepika wished the students and teachers and talked about the significance of Holi.

Sacred Souls' School celebrated Holi on its campus. Students were encouraged to celebrate the festival without water and chemical-based colour.
Yadavindra Public, Mohali
Yadavindra Public School organised a farewell party for two long-serving members of the staff — Anjali Gupta of the kindergarten wing and Amarjeet Kaur from the junior wing. School Director lauded the contribution of the teachers. Anjali Gupta, who taught art and craft in the school for 13 years, talked about the joy the kids felt when she shaped their ideas and how they left her awestruck with their work. Similarly, Amarjeet Kaur, who had taught Punjabi in the junior wing, talked fondly about 28 years she had spent at the school. Both teachers were given tokens of appreciation by the school management and staff.
DAV, Panchkula
As the academic session kicked off, students of Class III and IV visited the Le Corbusier Centre, Chandigarh, on the birth anniversary of Pierre Jeanneret, cousin of Le Corbusier. Besides enjoying the festivities, students were briefed about the history behind the planning of the city.
ATS Valley School, Dera Bassi
ATS Valley School, Dera Bassi, organised a graduation ceremony for UKG students on the school premises. The function commenced with the rendition of a welcome song by LKG students. The highlight of the programme was a skit on 'how to maintain discipline while boarding and de-boarding the bus'.

Students celebrated Holi with enthusiasm. They danced to the beat of dhol and celebrated the festival with dry non-toxic friendly colours.
Gurukul Global, Chandigarh
Gurukul Global School participated in a potted plants competition at Rose Festival, Chandigarh, and Spring Festival, Panchkula. The school clinched three first prizes and three second prizes at Rose Festival and nine first prizes and six second prizes at the Spring Festival. tns
