Kindergarten kids of Gurukul Global School showcased an enigmatic show — UDAAN. They presented cultural values which transcend the country and highlighted the unity in diversity of India, which was also the theme of the graduation ceremony. The ceremony was graced by Sukhvinder Khanna, Principal Commissioner of the Income Tax Department, and Harjinder Kaur, Chairperson, Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights, along with school managing committee chairman Dr VD Singh, managing director Parveen Setya, director Pawan Bansal and Principal Urvashi Kakkar. Students of kindergarten section showcased a colourful and vibrant show. Students had everyone glued to their seats by their scintillating performances, where they highlighted the unique culture of different states and presented their dances bringing out the ethos and excitement. Principal Urvashi Kakkar presented the school annual report highlighting the landmarks achieved by the kindergarten section.
Vidya Valley, Mohali
A graduation ceremony for kindergarten students was organised in Vidya Valley School, New Sunny Enclave, Mohali. Director Jaspal Singh was the chief guest. It was followed by a lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana. Tiny tots dressed up in nice attires performed various activities such as music, dance and skit. Principal Dr Suman Lata felicitated the students with certificates of graduation.
DAV Police, Panchkula
A graduation ceremony was held at DAV Police Public School, Panchkula, for 73 kids. The programme began with a welcome song by students. Kids entertained parents and grandparents with independent intra-personal speaking skills and exhibiting extra-curricular skills.
The British School, Panchkula
Around 200 kindergarten students of The British School, Panchkula, celebrated their sports day. School chairperson Urmila Sethi graced the occasion and declared the sports meet open. Parents were welcomed with songs by children. The event was a mélange of music, drills and races.
Various events such as little bunny race, jumpy-the frog, alphabet race and thread-the-pasta were organised.
