Dr Rajeev Bhalla, director, Health Services, Punjab, visited as the recourse-person during the lecture jointly organised by the NSS Unit and Red Ribbon Club of the college.
Dr Bhalla talked about stress, poor lifestyle choices, delayed diagnosis, fear of failure and lack of purpose in life as causal factors for major diseases, alcoholism and drug addiction.
He stressed on cure through resilience rather than illusionary control as resilient minds would have a prevailing sense for healthy decisions and thus resist temptations. — TNS
