Dushyant: BJP never cared about real 'chowkidars'

Karnal: Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) leader and Hisar MP Dushyant Chautala took a jibe at BJP leaders for prefixing 'chowkidar' to their name on Tuesday. He said the BJP never took care of the real 'chowkidars'.  He was in Assandh to address party workers. He said even the state government did not fulfil its promises of providing 'chowkidars' with cycle and torch. He referred the BJP leaders as 'thekedar' and accused them of neglecting the issues of the common people. He said the BJP always stood for the rich. "The BJP never did anything about the plight of the real 'chowkidars'," he said. On being asked about the possibility of an alliance with the AAP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the MP said he was not in the committee which would take the final call. "We have called a meeting on March 25, wherein the committee will take the decision on alliance," he said. TNS
