Ludhiana, March 17

Pensioners of the Punjab Government have demanded to streamline the pension process.

Office-bearers of the Punjab Government Pensioners Welfare Association have urged the government to revise pensions as per the latest recommendations of the pay commission.

Association members said pensioners had to face a lot of problems due to delay in release of revised pensions.

“There are many pensioners who are completely dependent on pension for their daily needs. There should be no delay in releasing pensions. The government shall also revise the pension as per the recommendations of the pay commission,” the association said through a press note. — TNS
