Linemen demand initiation of hiring process

Patiala, March 5

Leaders of the Berozgar Lineman Union (Mann), Punjab, demanded hiring of 3,500 linemen by the PSPCL at the earliest during a meeting held here on Tuesday.

Balkor Singh Mann, president of the association, said the members demanded that the corporation should call for applications for hiring 3,500 linemen before the General Elections. Leaders said, “We demand the PSPCL should issue a notification before the code of conduct.” — TNS
