Improve ‘ease of doing business’ ranking: CM

CHANDIGARH: Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday directed departments to ensure 100 per cent compliance on the business reform action point-2018 by January 31 to improve the ease of doing business ranking in the country, which is expected to be out by March.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday directed departments to ensure 100 per cent compliance on the business reform action point-2018 by January 31 to improve the ease of doing business ranking in the country, which is expected to be out by March.

Khattar was presiding over a meeting to review the progress regarding implementation of the plan.

As a result of industrial reforms, Haryana had made a considerable progress in terms of ease of doing business rankings by climbing up from 14th spot to third position in the country in 2018, the Chief Minister said, directing the departments to gear up to achieve the top slot in the rankings this year.

He said as this year, 100 per cent feedback of consumers getting various services of departments would also form a base for the rankings, the administrative secretaries should personally review the feedback and submit the scrutinised list by the end of January. — TNS
