Trial run on platform number 1 successful

Chandigarh, January 19

The authorities concerned successfully carried out a trial run at platform number 1 here today. Due to the construction work of washable apron, the railway traffic at the platform number 1 was blocked for the past 36 days starting December 14. The deadline for the completion of work of washable apron was January 19.

Director Hari Deep said they were hopeful that trains would start operating from tomorrow as the trial run was successful. “We are yet to get completion report from the engineering wing,” he said. — TNS
