MRSPTU, Adesh varsity ink MoU to promote research

BATHINDA: Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Adesh University, Bathinda, for making collective efforts to raise the level of higher education and to promote research and academic activities in the region.

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Adesh University, Bathinda, for making collective efforts to raise the level of higher education and to promote research and academic activities in the region.

The MoU was signed by prof Jasbir Singh Hundal, registrar, MRSPTU, and Col (retd) Jagdev Singh, registrar, Adesh University, in the presence of MRSPTU and Adesh University vice-chancellors prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar and Dr GPI Singh to establish a close link between both the universities to complement and further for the cause of promotion of technical education, quality research and high-end science.

Dr Mohan Paul Singh Ishar said, “This exercise will facilitate both the universities to move jointly on academic, teaching, training and research fronts, especially in the arena of medical sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences and nanotechnology, clinical research and other areas of mutual interest and share their research facilities.”
