The present BJP government has taken steps to take the festival to the international level so that people across the world could celebrate it. Efforts are being made to develop Kurukshetra in terms of tourism and spirituality. A corridor is being constructed from Pehowa to Bilaspur at a cost of Rs 126 crore for this purpose.”
