NARNAUL: The Mahendragarh police on Wednesday night arrested Pradeep alias Sonu Sigra, hailing from Khajuri village, a criminal in the most-wanted category.

The Mahendragarh police on Wednesday night arrested Pradeep alias Sonu Sigra, hailing from Khajuri village, a criminal in the most-wanted category.

Four members of his gang — Jitender alias Sonu of Gola Heda, Balram alias Chhoti of Khajuri, Bablu alias Charan Singh of Jhhabua and Hariom of Maandi village — were also arrested.

The Mahendragarh police recovered three pistols, two countrymade guns and live cartridges from their possession.

“Sigra was wanted in over 20 cases of heinous crime like murder, attempt to murder and loot. Sonu Sigra had murdered Babu of Khayra village in the Mahendragarh court in 2014. The accused were arrested following a tip-off,” said a police spokesman.
