The local police have arrested the co-suspect in the Morni murder case.

Jaswinder Singh, alias Pata, a resident of Khatauli village near Barwala, along with Shama Parveen, the victim’s wife, had stoned Islam to death at a resort in Plasra village of Morni block of the district on January 6.

It is pertinent to mention here that Islam was found murdered in the rear of a newly constructed resort at Palasra village on the Morni-Raipur Rani road on Sunday evening. The incident had come to light after villagers informed the police that they heard the shrieks of the victim.

Shama Parveen has already been arrested in the case.
