Mohali, August 7
Mohali Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) president Darshan Singh Dhaliwal resigned from his post on Tuesday citing that he was “unhappy” over recent developments in connection with Sukhpal Singh Khaira.
Darshan Singh Dhaliwal told The Tribune that the way Khaira had been removed from the post of the Opposition leader was undemocratic.
“I have resigned from my post, but I will remain loyal to the party and work as its activist under the guidance of Aam Aadmi Party president Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab AAP in-charge Manish Sisodia,” said Dhaliwal.
Darshan Singh Dhaliwal has sent his resignation to Balbir Singh, Punjab Aam Aadmi Party executive president.
