Manish Tewari, former Union Minister and national spokesperson of the Congress, launched forms for the Shakti app, at a public meeting in Sector 19, Chandigarh.

He addressed residents of the area and lambasted the functioning of the Modi government, terming it as a complete failure. Earlier, mechanics from the Mani Majra Motor market organised a programme to discuss their problems with Manish Tewari.

The workers discussed their problems one by one and said the Municipal Corporation had been harassing them. They complained of filth in the area.

Manish Tewari said on the one hand the BJP government promised to provide two crore jobs and on other hand, it harassed people, who were earning a livelihood on their own.

He promised that after coming to the power, the Congress Party would accept all legitimate demands of the mechanics.
