The Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP) has asked the market committee to deposit the funds it had collected from vendors during apni mandis as rent for the past several years.
Ashutosh Rajan, Estate Officer, Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran, in a communication to the Secretary-cum-Executive Officer of the market committee, stated that despite several reminders, the amount had not been deposited to it.
He said that as per rates approved by the Chief Administrator, Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran, the rent for every apni mandi amounted to Rs 30,000 per day.
Rajan said the pending dues up to December 2018 amounted to Rs 4, 26, 60, 000 besides service tax, which should be deposited within 10 days from the issue of the notice. He said if the market committee failed to do so, HSVP would not apni mandis on its land.
