Mercedes car driver held for killing vendor

NEW DELHI: The driver of the Mercedes car — Nukul (28), a resident of Raj Nagar, Palam Colony — whO allegedly ran over and killed a fruit vendor and injured another near Dwarka''s Ganpati Chowk on Sunday night, has been arrested and the vehicle was seized.

The driver of the Mercedes car — Nukul (28), a resident of Raj Nagar, Palam Colony — whO allegedly ran over and killed a fruit vendor and injured another near Dwarka's Ganpati Chowk on Sunday night, has been arrested and the vehicle was seized.

As per a senior police officer, a Mercedes emblem was found at the spot that prompted police to procure details of about 4,000 cars of the same marquee to ascertain the vehicle involved. An eyewitness and the person who informed about the accident were questioned. As there was no CCTV cameras around the accident spot, footages from adjacent roads was analysed. — TNS
