71st annual conference of Indian Medical Association of Punjab (Pimacon) was held at Government Medical College, Patiala, on January 5 and 6. As many as 1,300 delegates from whole of Punjab attended the conference. IMA Ludhiana branch was adjudged the best branch in Punjab for its activities at state and national level. Dr Manoj Kumar Sobti, member of the Punjab Medical Council and former President IMA Punjab added another feather in his cap. He was awarded for his meritorious contribution to National IMA. Dr. Kramvir Goyal, received the vice president award. The best branch award was received by Dr Arun Gupta, Dr Manoj Kumar Sobti, Dr Pritpal Singh and Dr Kramvir Goyal.

Giving details about the camp, Dr Bharti Uppal, Associate Medical Superintendent said the camp will be organised in CMC Hospital from January 7 to 31 with 50 per cent concession on all surgical procedures, operations (if registered and operated between the camp duration) and total bill, excluding medicines and implants.
The patients can get themselves registered at the help desk especially for the camp registration at the subsidised rates to avail the concession for general surgery, pediatrics surgery, gynecology, plastic surgery, orthopedics, ENT and Neurosurgery.
