MC challans 3 meat shops

LUDHIANA: The Ludhiana Municipal Corporation, challaned three meat shop owners for not maintaining hygiene, while various shopkeers closed their shops and ran away at Sikandri Road near the Christian Medical College and Hospital today.

The Ludhiana Municipal Corporation, challaned three meat shop owners for not maintaining hygiene, while various shopkeers closed their shops and ran away at Sikandri Road near the Christian Medical College and Hospital today. Officials believed that someone had leaked the information regarding

the raid.

Senior Veterinary Officer Dr YP Singh said the meat shops at Sikandri Road were inspected. The shops were found very unhygienic, while the road was encroached upon with poultry bird’ss cages, he said.

“Shopkeepers were requested to maintain hygiene inside the meat shops as well as in surroundings as well. Staff concerned has been instructed to keep a regular watch in this area and issue challans to violators,” said the Senior Veterinary Officer.
