BATHINDA: The police have booked a man, along with his wife, for allegedly beating up his sister and mother in the market over some dispute.

The police have booked a man, along with his wife, for allegedly beating up his sister and mother in the market over some dispute.

The suspects have been identified as Rohit Gandhi and his wife Renu Gandhi, residents of Hans Nagar.

Complainant Bindiya Gandhi, a resident of Partap Nagar, told the police that she, along with her mother, went to the cloth market where her brother Rohit and his wife Renu had beaten them up.

The complainant added that they even tried to snatch her gold chain and purse of her mother.

A case under Sections 341, 323 and 440 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the suspects at the Kotwali police station.
