PHAGWARA: The police arrested a person with four stolen laptops here on Friday.

The police arrested a person with four stolen laptops here on Friday. The accused has been identified as Prashant Makkar, a resident of Abohar.

The accused is a former student of LPU and is residing near the Law Gate of the LPU at a paying guest house.

While confirming this, The Superintendent of Police, Phagwara, Mandeep Singh, said the accused have confessed to his involvement in stealing laptops from the hostel of the LPU on December 24. — OC
