The local police have arrested a person after a large number of intoxicating injections were recovered from his possession near the Jandli flyover here on Monday night.
The suspect has been identified as Mohammad Shakir, a resident of Saharanpur.
According to information, acting on a tip-off, Shakir was stopped near the Jandli flyover here around 10:45 pm and during a checking, 200 Buprenorphine Injection 2 ml and 200 Avil 10 ML Maleate injections were recovered from him.
A case under Section 21(c) and 22 (c) of the NDPS Act has been registered at the Baldev Nagar police station.
