Man found dead

Amritsar, June 18

A man was found dead in the washroom of Madan Lal Dingra Inter State Bus Terminal on Tuesday evening. Identified as Jarnail Singh, the deceased had been working as a helper for a video coach Delhi-Amritsar bus.

Though police think that Jaranil has committed suicide, a forensic team has been called to ascertain the reason behind the death.

The staff of the bus and family members of the deceased said they didn’t know the reason behind it. The bus reached at the bus stand in the afternoon. After sometime, the body of Jarnail was found in the washroom.

Jagjit Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Police, said a forensic team was investigating the matter. The parents of the deceased also reached the bus stand. The case has been registered on the statement of the parents.

After receiving the forensic investigation report, the picture will become clear, the police said.
