A resident of New Indira Colony in Mani Majra has been arrested for attacking a man and a woman at the colony.

The complainant, Mohammad Aslam, alleged that Amir Khan, the suspect, attacked him and his sister-in-law with a knife at his house on December 15.

The victims sustained injuries in the attack and were admitted to the Civil Hospital, Mani Majra. However, doctors referred them to Government Medical College and Hospital in Sector 32.

The police were informed about the incident, following which a case was registered against Amir Khan at the IT Park police station. — TNS
