Bahraich, February 9
A 17-year-old boy was killed by a leopard when he was working in the fields at a village adjacent to the Katarniyaghat forest area here, officials said on Saturday.
On Friday evening, Bindra was attacked by the big cat at Nibiya Ghaudi village, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) GP Singh said.
His family members, who were nearby, burnt firecrackers to force the leopard to flee but the victim had died by then, the officer said.
