For preserving and augmentation of wooded ambience around Gurdwara Darbar Sahib at Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan while paving the way for the international corridor and tourism infrastructure, former bureaucrat DS Jaspal has proposed a landscaping plan with the Pakistan authorities.
A landscape plan for Kartarpur Sahib prepared by the former Secretary of the Forest Department, DS Jaspal has urged the Pakistan government not to ignore environmental landscape while developing physical infrastructure in Kartarpur Sahib.
Talking to The Tribune, Jaspal disclosed that he had already discussed a landscape plan for Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib at length with Dr Malik Amin Aslam, environment adviser to Imran Khan, who was receptive to the idea. — TNS
