Kundu meets ministers ahead of investors’ meet

Shimla, October 23

Principal Secretary to CM Sanjay Kundu met Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Thakur in New Delhi and apprised him of the schedule of Global Investors Meet being held at Dharamsala on November 7 and 8. Anurag confirmed his participation on November 7.

Anurag will chair the session to be held with the delegates of the UAE, the partner country for the event.

Later, Kundu called on Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar and top officials in the ministry and apprised them of the programme, objective and targets of the proposed meet. He also sought the ministry’s support for the event. The minister assured full cooperation. He also called on UAE Ambassador to India Dr Ahmed Albanna and discussed various issues related to holding of the meet. Dr Albanna informed that the UAE would participate in the event with a delegation and assured of full support from his country. — TNS
