Bollywood’s Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan is one of the most respected and adored superstars of the industry. He was last seen on the big screen in the action-adventure film Thugs of Hindostan, which turned out to be a box office dud, after which fans eagerly waited for news on his next film. On his birthday this year, Aamir shared details of his next project while celebrating the day with media. He revealed that his next film is titled Laal Singh Chaddha, which is an official adaptation of Tom Hanks’ 1994 hit Forrest Gump. It will be directed by Advait Chandan, the man behind Zaira Wasim-starrer Secret Superstar.

Now, on the occasion of Janmashtami, Aamir took to his social media handle to share a picture and a video to wish his fans and followers. The actor shared adorable updates from his Janmashtami celebrations with son Azad. In the video, seven-year-old Azad can be seen climbing on to Aamir Khan’s back to help gain some height to reach the dahi handi. Little Azad adorably breaks the dahi handi as Aamir continues to encourage him. With this post, we also get a glimpse of his look for Lal Singh Chaddha. We know Aamir has been growing his beard, but in these latest posts he can be seen sporting a macho moustache and is wearing a kada in his hand. We really cannot wait to see Aamir back on silver screen!
