Governor Kalraj Mishra and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur paid tributes to the late BJP leader Arun Jaitley at the party office in New Delhi today.

The Thakur government has declared two-day state mourning as a mark of respect to Jaitley, who passed away on Saturday. The Tricolour will fly at half-mast on August 25 and 26 on all buildings of the state.

Both Governor and Chief Minister prayed for the peace to the departed soul and strength to his loved ones.

The CM said the nation had lost a great leader, who would be always remembered for his contribution to the party and the country.

Members of Parliament Ramswaroop Sharma, Kishan Kapoor, Suresh Kashyap and state BJP chief Satpal Singh Satti also paid tributes to the late leader.
