Singer Harrdy Sandhu has come out with yet another single and there is something about the song which makes youngsters shake and shimmy. Only this time he adds the Fukrey boys, Manjot Singh and Varun Sharma, to the mix.

The song, Yaar Superstar, which suffered some technical glitches on the release date deferring the release for a couple of hours, as shared by Harrdy Sandhu on his Instagram handle, still managed to garner 22 million views. The song is an ode to friendship shared by people from all walks of life and promotes the idea of ‘no love lost between the friends separated by distance’. Whilst listening to the song even Sandhu reminisces about the love he shared with friends who are in different parts of the world now.

The innate connection and copyright of Punjabis, the Geri route, is hard to miss. The lyrics go down well with the lives of the young demographic and thus Babbu, the lyricist, has done a commendable job. The easy hip-hop moves of the song inspire even a non-dancer to hit the floor.

Amidst all the Yaari songs available on the shelf, Harrdy’s song despite having an emotional feel manages to be a smart choice for all the DJ’s around the block.

The Kya Baat Ay singer also bagged a role in the movie ‘83’, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead, which will mark his debut in Bollywood. The singer gave his voice for the song Speaker Phat Jaaye for the Movie Total Dhamaal which hit the theatres last month. With Yaar Superstar single, his first this year, the road ahead is very promising for his fans and music lovers. The music is given by Meet Sehra.

Finally found his Yaar

Being a fan of singer Harrdy Sandhu, I am humming the song ever since I have listened to it. Since, I keep tabs on all his songs, I am amazed that he finally found a Yaar, who he can blindly trust, which he missed in his previous song Yaar Ni Milyaa.

In the loop

A great song by Harrdy Sandhu. Once you listen to it, you will surely play it in a loop. The song captures the essence of friendship. He always brings new elements in the videos and should be given credit for bringing about major changes in Punjabi videos.

Hymn for the weekend

Song is surely a party anthem for the weekend. It appeals to the younger generation and ‘hatke’ from other friendship songs that bring out sad emotions.

Dance to it

The song is fun to groove upon with friends because I know I will not be judged for my dance steps. All thanks to the video for involving moves for a non-dancer like me with lesser leg movements and more hands.

Nothing hard for Harrdy

I eagerly wait for popular Punjabi singer Harrdy Sandhu’s next song the minute a new one is released. He is the one I watch out for in the Punjabi music industry. There is nothing hard to achieve for Harrdy. He made a song out of every feeling that exists. My personal favourite is ‘Soch’ way better than the Hindi version of the same.
