India remembers the legend too

Stan Lee, the co-creator of Marvel Comics, gave many of us their childhood superheroes and the future generations is sure to marvel at the man who created iconic characters like Spiderman, X-Men, Iron Man and Black Panther.

Stan Lee, the co-creator of Marvel Comics, gave many of us their childhood superheroes and the future generations is sure to marvel at the man who created iconic characters like Spiderman, X-Men, Iron Man and Black Panther. As stars from Hollywood mourn the loss of the writer, Stan Lee fans in Bollywood as well as the region share how he somehow made us believe that a superhero does exist in some part of the world! 

Wishes pour in

Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh tweeted, ‘RIP #StanLee — Generations after generations will be ever so grateful to you for enlightening & enriching their lives with stories, characters & values. Thank you. #StanLeeForever” 

Gurratan Singh, an MPP from Brampton East, tweeted a heart-warming picture and wrote: ‘He helped me believe that another world was possible. Defined by the pursuit of justice, he taught me how being different wasn’t a weakness, but it was my superpower. He showed me we’re only limited by our imagination. Upward and onward sweet soul, to greater glory.’

Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda is also grateful to Stan Lee for making us believe in superheroes, as he tweets, ‘Thank you for the Marvel universe... for making us see super heroes in all of us. RIP #StanLee.’ 

Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma too shares an interesting picture of the ‘real’ hero along with a post, ‘@TheRealStanLee — you will be missed. No Marvel movie will be complete without you. Thank you for leaving us with some of the greatest heroes of all time. And giving me my favourite superhero #Hulk #RIP’.

There are a good number of StanLee fans in tricity and the region too. Known rapper and Bollywood singer Badshah shares, “Stan Lee inspired millions, making us believe in the tales of superheroes. He was indeed the biggest superhero himself.”
