The family of Lance Naik Sandeep Singh (33) of 10 Para Commando has been praying for his speedy recovery. He had got injured in an encounter with terrorists at Ratipura in J&K on February 11. He had joined the Army in 2005.

Sandeep, who hails from the district’s Atali village, is admitted to an Army hospital in Srinagar. 

“His condition is said to be critical,” said Sonu, his younger brother. 

Sandeep’s father Nain Pal said, “We all are praying for his recovery. We hope that the government will not spare any effort to provide him with the best of medical treatment.” — TNS
