Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Punjab, has expressed concern over the spike in the menace of drugs in the state with the government “maintaining a stoic silence over the scourge”. Commenting on the recent survey conducted by the Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR), the party said the lure of money had blinded both Congress and SAD-BJP governments. eputy Leader of Opposition in the Vidhan Sabha, Sarabjit Kaur Manuke, said drugs were being supplied to addicts on doorsteps in various parts of the state under the watch of the police and state administration due to which the 65 per cent of the youth between 15 and 20 years of age were getting hooked to narcotics.
