Ludhiana: Thieves targeted a gurdwara in Chabbewal and decamped with cash. President of gurdwara Jagmohan Singh said he, along with his family, lived in the gurdwara. On February 10, he, along with his family, slept at the gurdwara. Next morning, he was shocked to see the main locks broken. He later came to know that the thieves had also broken the lock of the donation box and stolen cash. The police have registered a case. TNS
Snatchers’ Gang busted
Khamano: The police claimed to have busted a gang of snatchers with the arrest four of its members. The police have recovered five stolen mobiles from their possession. They have been identified as Rajwinder Singh Raju and Sanju, both residents of Amrala village; Jagjit Singh of Lopon village, and Amandeep Singh of Manupur village. Additional SHO of Khamano Kulwant Singh said two incidents of mobile and cash snatching from migrant labourers were reported in the area. OC
